In its 5th and final funding session of the year, the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg New Media Funding supports 20 projects from the fields of games, XR, innovative audiovisual content and serial formats with a total of 3.3 million Euros. This also includes 2 projects from the DIGI.TALe funding program with a total of 215,000 Euros.
2 million Euros in funding will flow into games projects. With this funding session, it is clear that regional games development were supported with a total of 5.3 million Euros in 2023 and that Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, thanks to the increased state funding for the sector, is the top state funder.
