How can games support and accompany the value education of young adults in our free democratic society? In order to discuss this question and develop concrete ideas together, the Digital Games Culture Foundation invites all interested parties from the games industry, political education, integration work and migrant self-organizations to a Pitch Jam in Berlin from September 29 to October 1, 2023.
On the basis of professional inputs, all participants will first gain insights into the topics of games and value education, and then form interdisciplinary teams to develop a game idea, which will be prepared in the form of a pitch presentation. The jury will award a total of 25,000 euros in prize money for the best pitches. The Pitch Jam will take place as part of the Games and Values Education model project, which is funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
