The Foundation for Digital Games Culture will hold an online conference on June 24th about the topic “Remember through Games” (Erinnern mit Games). With several speakers from the games industry and commemorative culture, the conference will focus on how it is possible to process the Nazi era in a sensible way through video games, with a focus on how videogames can bring a contribution to this topic without trivialising it.
The speakers will talk and show different games that are dedicated to remembering this horrible time and discuss in which way the games are contributing to this sensible topic in terms of commemorative culture and potential of the game.
The conference is also dedicated to people that did not had much contact with video games yet.
