The in-depth workshop Play, Promote, Publish – Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry teaches developers from small independent companies as well as game developers from larger companies the necessary marketing and self-marketing skills to successfully place their game ideas on the market.
The participants deal intensively with topics such as how to find suitable business models and social media channels, how to plan communication for the release, and how to build a community, pre, during and post-release.

As the gaming industry in Germany continues to thrive on the global stage, this workshop will be conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a wide range of passionate professionals.
The first part of the workshop will be held in July, allowing participants to attend gamescom in Cologne in August, and immediately apply their newly acquired skills, while the subsequent two modules are scheduled for October.
