For the 10th anniversary of Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur, the institution published the manual "Spielen. Lernen. Wissen. Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Games in der Bildung." On more than 60 pages, the handbook illustrates how games can be used in different areas of education, such as school lessons, social work with children and young people, or in training and further education.
Guest contributions by experts from education, talent development, science and the games industry classify the potential and possible applications. Practical examples from the foundation's project portfolio as well as information on youth protection and legal aspects round off the publication. As a reference work, guidebook and source of inspiration, the handbook is aimed in particular at representatives of educational organisations and those responsible for educational policy.
