Berlin/Potsdam – With a total of 11 nominations for the Capital Region at the German Computer Game Award (DCP), #GamesSpringBerlin is gaining momentum. The Berlin-based developers at Megagon Industries are not only nominated as Best German Studio, but their MBB-funded game "Lonely Mountains: Downhill" is now competing for Best German Game with its expansion "Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders". Three MBB-funded games have received nominations: VAMPIRE THERAPIST, ODDADA, and ECHOES OF MORA. The MBB-supported award ceremony will take place on May 14 at the Palais am Funkturm in Berlin.
Helge Jürgens, CEO of Medienboard:"Congratulations to all the nominees of DCP 25! We are happy and proud that the Capital Region is once again so strongly represented – with 11 nominations for games 'Made in Berlin-Brandenburg,' three of which are MBB-funded. We are especially pleased that the Berlin studio Megagon Industries, which has received multiple MBB grants, is competing in the major categories Best German Game and Best Studio. We wish all developers the best of luck and look forward to a great games party in May in the Games Capital, Berlin!"
