The German Computer Game Award (Deutscher Computerspielpreis, DCP) takes place on May 11th 2023. This year, development studios from Berlin and Brandenburg are nominated for nine awards. Here are the nominees:
- Pantbucket Games is nominated for their game Beholder 3 in the categories Best Game, Best Serious Game, Best Audio Design as well as Studio of the Year.
- Randwerk Games is nominated for their game Abriss - Build to Destroy in the categories Best Expert Game and Best Graphic Design.
- Yager Development is nominated for their game The Cycle: Frontier in the category Best Audio Design.
- Fein Games is nominated for their game Finding Hannah in the category Best Graphic Design.
- Meander Books is nominated for their game Die magische Bretterbudenburg in the category Best Family Game.
The games by Fein Games, Randwerk Games and Meander Books are also funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
